About The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced engineering manager to lead our core platform engineering team, responsible for shipping our API, indexer, infrastructure, and dev tools. Your work will directly impact millions of users interacting with our products, and help secure over $500m of trading volume across the internet.

What You'll Do:

• Build and grow a full-stack team of engineers focused on shipping a high-quality platform at scale
• Drive engineering excellence in maintainability, performance, and attention to detail, balancing pragmatism and polish
• Triage incoming asks, considering tradeoffs with product and organizational context
• Maintain awareness of team status and capacity, escalating blockers and other issues across projects early
• Contribute code for complex features and bugs as needed
• Create stability and clarity within the team and across the org in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
• Own hiring and developing top technical talent for your team

What We're Looking For:

• 6+ years of experience as an engineer (this is a hands-on role!)
• 2+ years of experience as a manager leading a consumer-facing product team
• Strong technical background building APIs at scale (and ideally applications as well)
• Proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional partners like product teams and external developer teams
• Experience recruiting and scaling engineering teams in high-growth environments
• Exceptional communication and prioritization skills
• Demonstrated success in building teams that deliver consistently to external users
• US / EU Time zone

Bonus Points:

• Prior experience building on top of blockchains
• Deep technical expertise in Python, GraphQL, and MongoDB
• Comfort moving across the stack when needed (TypeScript, React, Next, and Solidity)
• Experience operating within high-ambiguity startup environments
• Strong product intuition and a keen eye for design

Here's the Pay Range:

• Pay Range: $221,000 - $275,000 base salary + equity
