Rift’s Product Engineer will lead frontend app development at the company.

We’re looking for someone who’s hungry to own the product development at a start up as it takes off. You will have a huge amount of autonomy and be at the center of steering the next crypto unicorn of Silicon Valley to its potential.

You will be part of an elite, high leverage team building out the full exchange experience - from turning design mocks into a functional dapp that interacts with smart contracts and user wallets, to creating components for partners to integrate Rift in their frontend.

We are building a $1b+ protocol while keeping the team extremely lean (<10), so you will have significant upside as we grow.

You should be cracked at:

• typescript + solidity and libraries like react / next / ethers / viem
• building complex dapp frontends with contract interactions
• taking figma designs from concept to a functional product that feels magical to use
• using chatGPT/cursor to increase development speed and unblock yourself

You don’t need:

• to make designs
• to write protocol code

Bonus points if you’re:

• crypto native (self custody crypto and regularly use popular protocols)
• a high school or college dropout
• the most locked in person you know

A bit about Rift:

Today, there’s no way to trade major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana without a middle man. As a result, over 90% of crypto ($12T/yr) is traded on centralized exchanges.

We solved this by building the first trustless crypto exchange. It uses zero knowledge proofs to allow for peer to peer trading of any 2 assets, with significantly lower fees than centralized exchanges.

We just raised a seed round from the top fund in crypto and are launching our private beta on Base in a few weeks.
