About the Opportunity ✍️

MoonPay USA, LLC’s Compliance team is looking for an Investigations Lead to directly support the Financial Intelligence Unit. This role will add value by directly supporting anti-money laundering (“AML”) investigations in the United States, which includes partnering closely with the global transaction monitoring team, technology manager, and completing suspicious activity reports, when applicable.

What you will do…

• Support U.S. anti-money laundering investigations

• Partner with the global transaction monitoring and alert management team

• Complete and file suspicious activity reports to the U.S. Financial Crimes Enforcement Network

• Provide feedback to the Compliance Technology Manager to support testing and tuning activities

• Provide feedback to the Transaction Monitoring Manager to continuously enhance the alert management process

What you will need…

• 3+ years of experience in a role supporting anti-money laundering investigations and suspicious activity report (“SAR”) filing

• 1+ years of experience in cryptocurrency

• Direct knowledge of SAR form requirements and filing timelines

• Knowledge of blockchain monitoring software and technologies

• Knowledge of the alert management and case investigations processes within a Bank Secrecy Act / AML Program

• Hands-on experience working with a case management system and electronic filing of suspicious activity reports

• Working with G-Suite (docs & sheets) & Excel

• Able to demonstrate alignment with MoonPay values

• Ability to work in a remote environment

• Belief to challenge the status quo

• Comfortable at operating outside of one's comfort zone

• Capable of Stakeholder management

• Flexible & adaptable to the evolving needs of a fast-growing organization

Bonus qualification:

• Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (“CAMS”) Certification

Pay transparency statement:

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $75,000 - $100,000 annually.​
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional benefits.
