Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to operations and reporting.
- Participate in procedure manual set-up & system implementation projects, ensuring effective management of trading activities and platform performance.
- Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement.
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of trading, deposit, and withdrawal activities across all systems.
- Implement controls to monitor data integrity and proactively address discrepancies.
- Develop and oversee the security protocols for the custody and management of private keys, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape to inform operational strategies and initiatives.
- Collaborate with other teams to enhance measures related to private key storage and access controls.
- Oversee the integration of technology solutions to enhance trading & custody capabilities, improve customer experience, streamline operational functions, and achieve operational excellence.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including compliance, technology, customer support, and finance, to ensure seamless operations.
- Coordinate responses to operational challenges, ensuring minimal impact on service delivery and customer trust.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in fintech or cryptocurrency.
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership experience as Head of Operations or Senior Operations Manager or similar position.
- Deep understanding of the cryptocurrency ecosystem, custody & trading operations, private key management and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven leadership and people management capabilities, driving operational excellence, and implementing strategic initiatives.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with current regulatory and market initiatives.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese is necessary.
