ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as the Head of Prime Brokerage Operations. In this role, you will lead the daily operations of our Prime Brokerage (PB) business. This is an excellent opportunity to take part in shaping the future of digital asset management while working in an exciting, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the prime brokerage business, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of client transactions, settlements, and reconciliations;
• Lead and improve the accuracy, frequency and quality of KPI reporting for PB
• Develop and implement strategies to expand the company's prime brokerage services, fostering relationships with institutional clients and increase the business’ overall competitiveness;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including trading, risk management, compliance, and technology, to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the prime brokerage platform;
• Partner with Product teams to deploy new features for the firm’s PB business;
• Work with Risk and Sales to facilitate large clients with bespoke product offerings;
• Participate in client due diligence calls in partnership with Risk, Sales and Treasury counterparts;
• Pricing of margin loans in collaboration with Treasury;
• Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to digital asset prime brokerage services, and adapt the company's operations accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, working closely with the compliance team to address any potential issues in a timely manner.

Key Requirements:

• Degree holder in economics, mathematics, computer science, engineering or other quantitative STEM subjects;
• Solid understanding of trading operations, relevant technologies and an appreciation of trading algorithms;
• Strong familiarity of PB business models in traditional finance;
• Professional experience in the crypto industry;
• Ability to understand quantitative models;
• Demonstrated ability to perform independently while coaching and mentoring a small team;
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence across all levels;
• Fluency in English is a must, Mandarin is highly advantageous due to the need to liaise with Mandarin-only speaking stakeholders.
