We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Strategic Finance Manager to join our team to help support our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and strategic finance efforts. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a critical role in optimizing our financial systems, operations, and treasury management. This role will be highly cross functional and you will have the opportunity to partner with leaders in developing forecasts and generating reports for senior leadership.
Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
Support the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Conduct variance analysis and performance tracking against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers of financial performance.
Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and investors.

Strategic Finance:
Partner with senior leadership to evaluate strategic initiatives, investment opportunities, and potential business partnerships.
Conduct financial modeling and analysis to assess the financial impact of various strategic decisions and scenarios.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize resource allocation, improve profitability, and drive long-term value creation.

Business Partnering:
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, Business Development, Marketing, Operations, HR & Recruiting, and Legal to understand business drivers and financial implications.
Serve as a trusted advisor to business partners, providing financial expertise, support, and guidance to facilitate informed decision-making.
Develop strong relationships with department heads and other stakeholders to align financial goals with overall business objectives.

Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve overall efficiency and accuracy.
Implement best practices and tools to optimize FP&A workflows, data analysis, and reporting systems.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and relevance of financial planning and analysis activities.
What you bring:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of progressive experience in finance, with a focus on FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance.
Proven track record of developing and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in financial analysis and reporting.
Experience working in technology, fintech, or digital asset industries is a plus.
Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.

The compensation for this position will vary based on geography and other factors (including years and depth of experience and expertise, and other business considerations). The base salary range for this role for the United States is $150,000 - $175,000. Additionally, this full-time role is eligible to receive benefits, as well as participate in Magic Eden’s equity plan. Final offer package will be at the company’s sole discretion.
