Responsibilities
・Liaise between art and programming teams.
・Research and development of technical tools.
・Set up workflows for art production and engine integration.
・Assist with art asset validation and optimization.
・Troubleshoot art asset integration issues to ensure maximum visual fidelity.
・Create and maintain technical documentation for art workflows and tools.
Qualifications
・Minimum of 2 years of experience working with the Unity 3D engine.
・Basic knowledge of Unity scene management, prefab assembly, Shuriken, lighting, materials etc.
・Proficient in at least one 3D modeling/animation software such as Maya, 3Ds Max, Blender, Houdini, Cinema 4D, etc
・Proficient in Adobe Photoshop or equivalent.
Skills
・Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
・Strong attention to detail and ability to understand the specifics of an artistic vision.
・Solid technical skills and proficiency in diverse tools to quickly put together small prototypes and proof of concepts for art creation and engine integration workflows.
・Strong understanding of 2D/3D animation, compositing and color theory.
・Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Pluses
・C#, Python, Mel scripting, development of Unity Editor tools.
・Shader coding HLSL, CG, ShaderLab.
・Unity Shader Graph and VFX Graph.
・2D/3D rigging animation and compositing.
・Understanding of traditional animation principles.
・Performance profiling, Unity Frame Debugger, Xcode’s Metal Debugger.
・VFX, motion graphics, photography, film editing experience.
