The world of digital assets is accelerating in speed, magnitude, and complexity, opening the door to new ways for leveraging the blockchain. Fireblocks’ platform and network provide the simplest and most secure way for companies to work with digital assets and it trusted by some of the largest financial institutions, banks, globally-recognized brands, and Web3 companies in the world, including BNY Mellon, BNP Paribas, ANZ Bank, Revolut, and thousands more.

About the Team

At Fireblocks, the DevOps team drives the scalability and efficiency of our platform across a global, multi-cloud architecture. As we continue to grow, we're introducing a new and critical role—a FinOps Specialist—to work at the intersection of technology, finance, and operations.

Reporting to the Director of DevOps with a dotted line to the Head of Procurement, this role will own the FinOps practice at Fireblocks. The ideal candidate will be a highly analytical, technically adept, and business-minded individual who can lead the cost optimization strategy and build cross-functional alignment with finance and procurement teams.

This is a sole contributor, high-impact position where you will shape how we monitor, manage, and optimize our cloud investments across AWS, GCP, Azure, and more.

What You’ll Do

Cost Optimization & Governance

  • Lead the entire cloud cost management lifecycle across a multi-cloud environment.

  • Administer and optimize Savings Plans, Reserved Instances (RIs), and enterprise agreements.

  • Collaborate with cloud vendors and internal stakeholders to maximize cost efficiency.

  • Drive cost optimization efforts across Fireblocks' monitoring stack including Coralogix and Datadog.

Monitoring & Anomaly Detection

  • Continuously monitor cloud usage, budgets, and logs to identify anomalies, cost spikes, or inefficiencies.

  • Establish real-time alerts and anomaly detection systems for infrastructure cost fluctuations.

Strategy & Unit Economics

  • Own unit economics analysis and propose infrastructure efficiency improvements.

  • Convert technical data into actionable financial insights for engineering, procurement, and executive teams.

Collaboration & Project Management

  • Act as a strategic liaison between DevOps, Finance, and Procurement to ensure alignment on cloud financial goals.

  • Lead FinOps-related projects from planning through implementation, including tools, dashboards, and reporting workflows.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in a role involving DevOps, Cloud Cost Management, and Project Management.

  • Deep understanding of FinOps frameworks and best practices.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools.

  • Proficiency with cloud cost monitoring and reporting platforms such as AWS Cost Explorer, CloudHealth, Azure Cost Management, or equivalent.

  • Demonstrated success in managing and optimizing cloud budgets across AWS/GCP/Azure.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, cost anomalies, and actionable optimizations.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Highly organized and self-directed; thrives in fast-paced, global environments.

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • FinOps Certified Practitioner or equivalent certification.

  • Background in high-growth tech or SaaS environments.

  • Experience working closely with procurement or vendor sourcing functions.
