Our mission is to build an integrated suite of customisable and permissionless protocols that, together, provides users with the highest performance environment in which to trade across DeFi. Our product suite will include next-gen permissionless DEX and lending protocol that allows users to activate their own markets (among several other innovations) on Ethereum.

About the Role

Euler Labs is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Lead with expertise in DeFi to join our team. The ideal candidate is deeply knowledgeable about the DeFi ecosystem, possesses an extensive network of contacts, and embraces a collaborative team-player mindset. This multifaceted role requires a proactive and motivated individual who can drive the adoption, growth, and success of our products within the DeFi ecosystem.

About you

• You have at least 2+ years of experience in business development or partnerships, with a focus on the DeFi ecosystem
• 5+ years of experience in traditional finance or similar business development role
• You are passionate about DeFi and possess advanced knowledge of DeFi protocols, smart contracts, and blockchain technology
• You are a bit of chameleon, which enables you to adapt and effectively win the hearts of both the Degen community and the institutional, TradFi community
• You have an existing strong network of contacts in the DeFi industry
• You are fully immersed in project Discords, forums, and communities, and are constantly staying up to date on DeFi market trends
• You possess excellent communication skills and can effectively engage with diverse audiences and stakeholders, both technical and non-technical
• You are highly organised and methodical in lead generation, pipeline management, and tracking, utilising a CRM system with a strong focus on follow-through.
• You are resourceful and possess the discipline to achieve your goals, leveraging your connections to drive results
• You are a team player, driven by collaboration rather than ego, capable of building strong relationships within a remote, global team

Your Responsibilities

• Closely monitor current DeFi market trends and the competitive landscape to forecast DeFi trends, strategically positioning Euler protocol for TVL growth
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the DeFi space and protocols that will make good additions to Euler ecosystem, and then actively work on onboarding these protocols with thorough follow-through
• Proactively reach out to projects, founders, and developers in various protocol ecosystems and communities on behalf of Euler Labs
• Represent Euler Labs at industry events and conferences
• Engage with DeFi community and be fully immersed in project discords/ forums/ communities
• Build and maintain relationships with key partners in the DeFi ecosystem to optimise protocol growth and success
• Monitor and analyse DeFi market trends, competitive landscape to optimise our product offerings

Although we do not target ‘pedigree’ as a prerequisite and are open to all potential contributors, many of our staff are quite accomplished, with ‘proof of work' at Oxford, MIT, Berkeley, Harvard, the Federal Reserve, Morgan Stanley, Citadel, Twitter, Google, etc. Perhaps most importantly, we seek cultural fit: the team is serious about our work, but fun, good-natured, collegial, and kind-hearted.

Our team is fully remote, with approximately 25 people across at least 12 countries, and we work as smoothly as any office. We believe in collaboration, transparency and accountability. We are results-driven, with a focus on quality outcomes, not time spent working.
