Software Engineer, SRE/DevOps & Infrastructure
Conduit
At Conduit, we're building the infrastructure platform that will scale Ethereum. We believe that a lack of compute has been holding back crypto app developers, and that we can unlock the next wave of innovation in the crypto ecosystem by providing turn-key chain infrastructure for the masses, like AWS and GCP did for Web2.
We're a small team based in the Bay Area. We move fast, build high quality systems, and are open-minded enough to know that we always have more to learn.
About the Role
In this role you'll be working closely with the CEO to architect, maintain, and scale the infrastructure and services that power Conduit. We value people who can quickly obtain a deep technical understanding of new domains and enjoy being self-directed and identifying the most important problems to solve.
As a Distributed Systems / Devops Engineer here, you should:
Know your way around a shell
Have experience running large Kubernetes clusters, in the range of 100-1,000 nodes
Can design a highly available scalable distributed system
Have helped a team mature with standardized tools and processes around stability, observability, and scaling
Have experience working with cloud providers like AWS or GCP
We think you’ll find this work really exciting if you:
Have experience designing, implementing, and running production services
Are confident in managing and monitoring large-scale infrastructure deployments
Can debug problems across the stack, such as networking issues, performance problems, or memory leaks
Own problems end-to-end, and are willing to learn and pick up whatever knowledge you're missing to get the job done
We estimate that someone with 3-5+ years of experience as a software or Devops engineer will quickly contribute to our challenges
Our tech stack
Our infrastructure is built on Kubernetes, Postgres, and Cloud Tasks on GCP. While we value experience with these technologies, we are primarily looking for engineers with strong technical skills and the ability to quickly pick up new tools and frameworks.
