Chainalysis Government Solutions (CGS) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chainalysis that provides blockchain intelligence solutions — including data, technology, training, and services — to law enforcement, defense, intelligence and regulatory customers across the U.S. Government.

Chainalysis Government Solutions has been providing technology solutions to federal and state government agencies for over 10 years. Government agencies have used Chainalysis to investigate thousands of cases of terrorist financing, drug cartel operations, money laundering, cybercrime, election interference, counter-intelligence, human trafficking, and more. With help from Chainalysis, agencies have seized more than $11 billion of criminal proceeds and have produced hundreds of prosecutions.

You’ll define and execute strategies to transform our services organization into a growth engine for our government business. You will be a trusted leader with exceptional managerial capabilities, a high degree of adaptability, and a track record of growing, delivering, and developing new business within our customer base. You have a deep understanding of different government contracting vehicles, and a demonstrated track record of delivering services as a revenue generator. As an experienced leader of people, you have a high EQ and the ability to effectively tailor your leadership style to the needs of your teams and customers.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead and manage the Investigations/Services organization spanning customers across the entirety of the US public sector, from SLG and Federal Civilian to Defense and National Security

  • Complete a full assessment of current contracts, contract vehicles, utilization rates, and associated financials to make recommendations on what to stop, start, or continue

  • Create and refine strategies enabling the services organization to drive revenue growth through expanded or new means of customer engagement, leading to renewals, cross-sells, and upsells

  • Align the strategy of our investigations/services team with customer success, solutions architecture, and training to create a unified and seamless customer experience

  • Create KPIs and metrics to assess the profitability of services-based contracts, optimizing resources and efficiency in delivering services for our customers

  • Drive a consistent and thorough operating rhythm to review KPIs

  • Partner with the relevant Sales leaders in order to set and align strategies of selling and delivering software, data and services to our customers

  • Evolve and refine a best-in-class services organization, tailoring performance metrics to the key skills and goals of each team within the organization

  • Develop and mentor leaders by providing strategic guidance, professional development opportunities, and regular and transparent feedback

  • Ensure all teams have the right skill level, tools and capabilities in order to support our customers

We’re looking for candidates who have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years of leadership experience in a relevant role

  • A proven track record in solutions and services leadership, specifically in defining and delivering services to unlock revenue growth

  • Deep understanding of the unique needs of public sector customers and their operating models, as well as government contracts and contract vehicles

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful KPIs, roles and responsibilities, and driving operational efficiency and excellence

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across a complex and diverse set of stakeholders and team members

  • Experience with CRM and customer service tools and platforms

  • High degree of adaptability, a bias for action, and ability to lead in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
