The Manager, Content Marketing will manage three writers and partner with our Communications and Research teams, as well as subject matter experts from across the company, to publish original content for the Chainalysis blog, as well as in longform research reports. Content includes economic research based on Chainalysis proprietary data, customer success stories ranging from cybercriminal takedowns to the dismantling of terrorist financing networks, educational pieces on core crypto concepts, perspectives on crypto policy, and product developments. While your success in the role will be measured by web visits and report downloads, editorial prowess and project, people, and stakeholder management will be critical to your success.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Work with leaders and brainstorm with subject matter experts from across the company to prioritize topics for content development and manage and socialize the editorial calendar

  • Oversee a team of talented writers to draft content according to timelines, incorporate feedback from stakeholders, coordinate with the design team, and publish on a regular basis

  • Partner with the communications team to position newsworthy content

  • Draft engaging social media posts that highlight our content’s key findings

  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to manage integrated campaigns that drive broader and deeper engagement with our content

  • Report metrics that provide insight into what content works best

We’re looking for candidates who have:

  • Experience managing Content Marketing for a B2B data or SaaS company, or experience managing content creators who publish data-driven reports in a journalism, venture capital, or finance thought leadership context

  • Successfully partnered with stakeholders across functions such as Sales, Policy, Research, Communications

  • Strong editorial skills, including comfort in writing about data, attention to detail to ensure accuracy, and the ability to maintain a consistent tone that is passionate and proud, smart and curious, and friendly and approachable

  • Strong project management skills

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to draw insights from KPIs and leverage data to guide decision-making

  • Ability to act as a player-coach when needed, both writing and editing content to meet quarterly editorial goals

  • The ability to handle numerous priorities and manage competing deadlines in a dynamic and growing environment

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Experience in using Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets to analyze data and create data visualizations

  • Experience in or strong knowledge of the cryptocurrency industry and landscape

While this role is remote-friendly, candidates must reside in the US Eastern time zone.
