As a Travel & Expenses Analyst, you'll be responsible for enforcing compliance with Chainalysis’s Travel and Expense Policies (T&E), including employee reimbursement and company credit cards. You'll audit transactions submitted against the policies, and act as the liaison between Chainalysis and our commercial card issuer. You'll review procedures to identify process improvements, and propose ideas that will minimize defects and drive efficiencies. An ideal candidate is driven to provide superior service support to end-users and stakeholders.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory regulations and country-specific guidelines as they relate to the areas of travel and expense management

  • Process and audit T&E transactions within Navan and NetSuite

  • Professionally respond to employee inquiries by using discretion and judgment, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution

  • Partner with internal clients to correct errors, identify root cause of deficiencies and recommend appropriate process changes to reduce defects in the process

  • Assist with the on-boarding and maintenance of corporate cards

  • Conduct regular training sessions with employees on reimbursement and credit card submission procedures

  • Administrate and maintain T&E platform to optimize user experience and generate insightful financial reporting

We’re looking for candidates who have:

  • 1-3 years of Accounts Payable and/or relevant experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related major

  • Demonstrates an ability to multitask, prioritize and plan work activities to use time effectively

  • Ability to retain and understand intent of company policies

  • Excellent written and oral communication

  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills

  • Capable of taking initiative to drive process change and improvements

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic setting while maintaining accuracy and delivering against deadlines

Nice to have experience:

  • Knowledge of cloud related ERP systems (Navan, Coupa and Netsuite) from end user and administrative perspective desired

  • Ability to work closely with various teams throughout the company

  • Capable of taking initiative to drive process change and improvements

  • Motivated to work cross-functionally in a customer service-oriented capacity
