Who You Are
- Degree in: Administration, Actuarial Sciences, Economics, Computer Science or related
- Advance knowledge in SQL
- Great skills for storytelling and data exploration
- Communication skills
- 3+ years’ experience in Business Intelligence
- Experience building data analysis or data reports by building dashboards
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
Additionally, it would be nice if you:
- Have experience in Looker (LooKML)
- Have knowledge in advanced analytics
- Have knowledge in marketing analytics
- Have knowledge in causal analysis
- Knowledge in Git, R, Python, Databricks
What You Will Do
As a Business Intelligence Specialist, your tasks will include:
- Creating Table Structures: Utilize LookML (SQL based) code to design and implement the appropriate table structures for our business intelligence initiatives, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Data Analysis and Insights: Collaborate closely with business, operations, and engineering teams to conduct data analysis that leads to actionable insights. Your analyses will help guide data-driven decisions across the organization.
- Data Visualization and Storytelling: Enjoy the process of visualizing data and telling compelling stories with it. Use your creativity and technical skills to develop visually appealing and informative data visualizations that communicate key insights to stakeholders.
- Ambassadorship and Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between business units and the Data Science team, facilitating communication and collaboration. Your role will involve translating business needs into data-engineering needs, data-driven experiments and machine learning models, informed by data exploration and meaningful conversations.
