Your Purpose

Joining the Internal Communications Team means stepping into a pivotal role where you'll be instrumental in driving the team’s three objectives: 1) curate and lead the narrative for the organization 2) ensure timely sharing of important updates and 3) Facilitate effective and efficient communication among remote employees. Your expertise will be key in fostering seamless communication, building efficient processes and creating meaningful engagement among our team members. You'll be at the forefront of ensuring our messaging remains consistent and aligned with our company objectives and mission.

Who You Are

• +3 years of experience working with Communications/Marketing/Community/HR.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Passionate about testing new ideas and playing an active role in executing against them.
• Comfortable providing feedback to all levels of the organization to assist in improving communications skills.
• Proven initiative, judgment, discretion (especially managing sensitive information) and project management abilities with a focus on accuracy.
• Experience using technology tools such as Google Suite, Zoom, Google Hangouts or enthusiastic and eager to learn.
• Able to collaborate with Bitsonauts across cultures and work in a proactive and disciplined manner.

What You Will Do

• Create content for internal communication channels such as Slack, Weekly company meetings, Special events, exits etc. and ensure they reach the intended audience in a deadline-driven environment.
• Collaborate directly with different departments, including the Executive team, to gather information and content for internal communications.
• Use data to monitor and analyze the effectiveness of the internal communication channels and strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
• Serve as a liaison between different departments and teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with Bitso's objectives and mission.
• Create a feedback loop from employees to understand how messages are landing and areas of improvement in regards to internal communications.
• Staying on top of best practices (new tools etc.) for internal communications to continuously improve strategies and approaches.
• Assisting in crisis communication efforts as needed.
• Manage our internal knowledge base and collaborate with different departments on documentation processes.
