As a key member of the Business Development team, you will have significant ownership and impact on expanding Babylon's reach within traditional financial institutions. You will work closely with top ETF issuers, custodians, and other financial entities to unlock the potential of unstaked Bitcoins through Babylon's innovative protocol.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy targeting traditional financial institutions, particularly spot Bitcoin ETF issuers like Blackrock, Fidelity, and Franklin Templeton, to help them design and launch Bitcoin staking products.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at financial institutions, including asset managers, crypto custodians and exchanges.

• Educate potential partners on the benefits and security of Babylon’s Bitcoin staking protocol.

• Collaborate with internal teams to customize Babylon’s offerings to meet the specific needs of traditional financial institutions.

• Drive initiatives to transition unstaked Bitcoins held by custodians to being staked via Babylon.

• Help explore and develop new financial products and solutions that incorporate Babylon’s staking technology.

• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

• Represent BabylonChain at industry events, conferences, and meetings with potential partners.

• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the financial services industry.

• Strong understanding of the cryptocurrency and blockchain space, particularly Bitcoin and staking mechanisms.

• Proven track record of successfully engaging and closing deals with large financial institutions.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to think strategically and drive initiatives from concept to completion.

• Strong network within the traditional financial services sector, particularly among ETF issuers, crypto custodians and exchanges.

• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with blockchain technology and decentralized finance (DeFi) solutions.

• Familiarity with regulatory considerations and compliance requirements for financial institutions engaging with cryptocurrency.

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise business value propositions.
