We are seeking a dynamic and experienced USD Investor Relations Associate to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with major Limited Partners (LPs), including institutional LPs, family offices, sovereign wealth fund LPs, and other individual LPs. Additionally, the candidate will play a crucial role in managing the fundraising process, leading marketing material preparation, and organizing roadshows to engage potential LPs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Relationships:

  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with major Limited Partners, including institutional LPs, family offices, sovereign wealth fund LPs, and other individual LPs.
  • Maintain regular communications with major LPs to provide updates on fund performance, investment strategies, and market trends.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams in developing products and reporting portfolio company results.
  • Manage the firm’s branding and marketing-related activities.
  • Understand the unique needs and preferences of each LP to tailor communication and engagement strategies.

Fundraising Management:

  • Support the fundraising process, working closely with senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Support and execute fundraising strategies to achieve targeted capital commitments.
  • Prepare comprehensive marketing materials, presentations, and pitch decks to effectively communicate the fund's value proposition.
  • Organize and execute roadshows, meetings, and events to engage potential LPs and showcase investment opportunities.

Market Intelligence and Analysis:

  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that may impact fundraising efforts.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential LPs, assess their investment preferences, and tailor engagement strategies accordingly.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market intelligence.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and reporting requirements related to fundraising activities.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any regulatory concerns or changes affecting fundraising efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Chinese native speaker and fluent in English.
  • 2 years experience with a private equity fund or venture capital fund in investor relations preferred
  • Past involvement in managing fundraising processes from initiation to closure, including the preparation of marketing materials and the organization of roadshows.
  • Experience of USD fundraising is not required but preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop and present investor materials, both in written form and in-person presentations.
  • High integrity, strong team orientation and attention to details.
  • Willingness to travel as required for relationship development/maintenance and fundraising activities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment strategies in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Knowledge of venture capital and crypto markets.
